It is, of course, individual whether you get sweaty during light therapy, and depends on how long the lamp is used. Some people get a little sweaty at the place where the light is applied and it is above all the near-infrared light (NIR) in the red light therapy that is heat-generating, so the greater the proportion of the light that comes from it, the more heat is generated. On many panels, you can also opt out of NIR if desired, but then part of the effect is also lost.
