Sustainability at Nutrilight

Sustainability can be defined in many ways. At Nutrilight, we are confident that sustainability, just like health, involves several aspects. Therefore, we divide sustainability into four parts:

  • Workplace
  • Environment
  • Collaborations.

Production & product

When we talk about sustainability for our products, we take into account their impact on the environment and society throughout the entire product lifecycle - from raw materials to end users. We constantly strive to improve the sustainability of our products and want to be a driving force for a more sustainable future in the industry where we operate.

Sustainable Workplace

An important part of our sustainability work at Nutrilight is to contribute to the well-being of our employees. Therefore, we are keen to be a fair organization. Our workplace should be a safe place where we take care of each other. Having good conditions, secure employment contracts, and taking care of each employee is the foundation on which we build our operations. In addition, we also actively work to create a work environment and culture that provides energy, and ensure that we have a workplace that promotes diversity and equality.

Nutrilight should be a workplace where we feel safe, have fun, develop, and deliver really great results. A place where we feel good!

Sustainable Environment

As a supplier, we have a great responsibility for our impact on the environment. We sell socially important health products that people need to feel good. This is based on our ability to deliver safe products to our customers in a climate-smart way. Sustainability and environmental issues engage us and are important to us.

We are proud to collaborate with Shelfless logistics (https://shelfless.se/hallbarhet-och-miljo/Our goal is to become the most sustainable storage and logistics solution in the Nordics. At each warehouse, 100 to 200 people work side by side with robots and smart packaging machines powered by renewable energy. Solar collectors, electricity, and heat from fossil-free energy sources sometimes make the warehouses self-sufficient in energy.

Compared to a traditional warehouse, the Shelfless warehouse has twice as much storage capacity in the existing space. This means that Nutrilight as a customer reduces our environmental footprint through more efficient warehousing. A simple choice and a security for us as a company. We are also members of the industry initiative Sustainable E-commerce, which works to make the industry more sustainable.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sustainable collaborations

Nutrilight places demands on its resellers. Placing demands on our resellers is an important part of taking our responsibility as a company. Therefore, since 2024 Nutrilight has had a "Supplier Code of Conduct" in its basic agreements, as well as supplementary agreements. The Supplier Code of Conduct includes, among other things, our requirements regarding human rights, working conditions, the environment, and business ethics.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sustainable production & Product

When we have developed a product, we collaborate with a supplier who manages the manufacturing process for the specific product. Nutrilight works with suppliers who usually own their own factories, but they can also use factories owned by someone else.

It is in the factories that our products are manufactured. We have close cooperation with our suppliers to support them in their sustainability efforts. We only collaborate with suppliers and factories that meet our strict code of conduct; Sustainability Commitment, which includes requirements for fair wages and good working conditions as well as environmental requirements for production.

Q&A - Sustainability:

How long is the shelf life of your products?

Our panels have long durability with a burn time of more than 50,000 hours, and they have extremely low energy consumption. As long as you take good care of your product, you can expect a product with long durability. Nutrilight also sells spare parts in the form of extra cords and boxes to extend the durability of our customers' products.

How can I recycle my product?

Electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of as household waste. The product should be taken for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste management. By recycling the product, you help to minimize potential negative effects on human health and the environment.

How can I recycle my packaging?

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we encourage our customers to actively participate in the recycling of packaging. Our packaging is mainly made of cardboard with elements of plastic, such as handles. By properly sorting and recycling these packages, we can together reduce our environmental impact and promote a circular economy. We encourage all customers to bring the packaging to recycling stations or centers. Through this simple action, we can together help save energy and resources while reducing the amount of waste that ends up in nature. Your participation makes a real difference for our planet!

What happens to advertised/defective products?

To minimize environmental impact, all defective products undergo a repair process. These repairs are carried out by local repairers in Sweden with the goal of restoring the product to its

original condition for reuse. If a customer wishes to cancel their purchase, the product is repackaged and sold to a new buyer or goes to our demo warehouse. We ensure that all our products find a new home and thereby avoid unnecessary waste.
