New research on red light therapy and fertility treatment
This study looked at using low-level laser therapy (LLLT) to help women with recurrent implantation failure (RIF) get pregnant. RIF occurs when a woman repeatedly fails to get pregnant despite multiple embryo transfers during IVF treatment. Thirty women who had failed at least three embryo transfers were split into two groups. One group received LLLT before the next transfer. The results showed higher pregnancy rates in the LLLT group: 46.7% had biochemical pregnancies and 33.3% had clinical pregnancies, compared to 33.3% and 20.0% in the control group. This suggests LLLT might help improve pregnancy chances in RIF patients. Read more here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.
